If there is a problem with motor vehicles or motorcycles speeding on the neighborhood streets or if there are unlicensed vehicles traveling on the streets, call the Southaven Police Department at: 662-393-8652.

If you have a problem with a barking dog or a stray dog, here is the contact information for Southaven Animal Control Department: 662-796-2491.

 

To report potholes, call the Southaven Public Works Department: 662-796-2489.

 

To report issues with the garbage pickup, recycle pickup or rubbish and debris pickup, call the Southaven Public Works Department: 662-796-2489. NOTE: If your garbage is missed on Thursday, the regular pickup day, call Friday morning to report the incident and get a pickup scheduled.

 

To sign up for recycling all that needs to be done is to call the Southaven Public Works Department at 662-796-2489 option 1 and request the service. It is $6.40 a month and it is included on the water/sewer bill.

 

The mailboxes in Worthington are custom made. If you have a problem with your mailbox you can call: Ken Black, 901-604-0468. NOTE: Any changes other than simple repairs require an Architectural Application to be filled out and submitted to the AC Committee.

 

If you have old metal scraps or items like a refrigerator or washer or a dryer, you can call Freddy Sparrow: 901-502-4484. He lives close and will come and pick it up.

 

If you have old batteries for flashlights, other electronics or devices as well as car batteries, they can be recycled for free at Batteries Plus. It is located near Baptist DeSoto Hospital. 662-548-3715.

 

If you have any type of old television, computer or other electronic devices, Best Buy will recycle these items for free. They are located by Baptist DeSoto Hospital. 662-349-0551. The city will not pick these items up because they are considered hazards materials.
